InciSioN Ukraine's Membership form
InciSioN Ukraine is the Ukrainian National Working Group of the International Student Surgical Network (InciSioN) Global—a global non-profit uniting medical students, residents, and young doctors to discuss, educate, advocate, and conduct research in Global Surgery.
As a leading voice for global surgery in the country, InciSioN Ukraine envisions safe and equitable access to quality surgical, obstetric, and anesthetic care for every Filipino, in line with the nation's journey toward universal health care. Our mission is to pioneer the field of global surgery locally by:
Raising awareness of surgery’s critical role in public health,
Building capacity through holistic education, research, and training,
And fostering multisectoral collaboration for sustainable healthcare development.
In the Philippines, surgery is often seen as a costly luxury rather than a public health necessity. Most surgeons practice in private tertiary hospitals, and surgical care remains largely excluded from health system priorities. This disconnect highlights the urgent need for a proactive, evidence-based approach to global surgery—one that begins with reshaping medical education and reaches across sectors.
We aim to empower the next generation of healthcare leaders through research, conferences, and advocacy. By involving diverse disciplines beyond medicine, we hope to inspire broader understanding and lasting change in how Filipinos view and access surgical care.
